The actual test screen shows the split-screen Reading layout, active countdown, test navigation, and answer controls learners practise with before test day.
The free mock follows the CELPIP-General skill order and task inventory. It is a complete test experience, not a short sample quiz or a single speaking prompt.

2025 AATP EdTech Award
Association of Test Publishers, Asia Division
We did not put a generic essay score inside a CELPIP screen. PrepEx uses the same core AI grading engine behind our 2025 AATP EdTech Award, then applies CELPIP-specific task context, public performance criteria, level descriptors, and evidence checks. The result is feedback designed for the response you actually gave.
Writing and Speaking use the CELPIP-tuned AI grader. Listening and Reading use answer-key scoring. PrepEx reports practice estimates only because CELPIP's final score conversion is proprietary. See the 2025 A-ATP award announcement.
The free mock is available once per learner and is separate from the two graded CELPIP Practice Hub sessions available to free users each day.
Your account saves progress, protects your speaking recordings, and connects the finished test to your results report.
No payment card is required. The first published full mock is marked “Free · once per account.”
You can resume an in-progress session if you need to stop, then complete the remaining timed tasks later.
Return to the free Practice Hub for two graded sessions per day and focus first on your weakest CELPIP skill.
The free practice test uses original PrepEx content. It was built to the CELPIP-General task inventory, then reviewed for test alignment, fairness, Canadian English, and scoring relevance.
The review process checks the language challenge, task purpose, timing, answer quality, prompt clarity, and performance criteria. PrepEx does not present generated filler as an expert practice test.
Every section covers the expected CELPIP-General task families, including all eight Speaking tasks and both Writing tasks.
Prompts use clear audiences and ordinary Canadian life: work, school, services, housing, schedules, and community situations.
Tasks avoid specialist legal, medical, financial, or immigration knowledge. English ability remains the challenge.
Writing and Speaking feedback uses CELPIP-style categories such as Content and Coherence, Vocabulary, Readability or Listenability, and Task Fulfillment.
A full test is useful when the result tells you where to focus. PrepEx combines answer-key scoring for Listening and Reading with CELPIP-tuned AI grading for Writing and Speaking, then builds one cross-skill practice report.
See separate level 1-12 practice estimates for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Get one overall estimate to summarize the mock test, clearly labelled as practice rather than an official score.
Use the result details to find the task types and sections where points were lost.
Ask Petra about the result and turn the score breakdown into a practical next-step study plan.
PrepEx score estimates are designed for preparation and progress tracking. Only the official test provider can issue an official CELPIP score.
