Questions schools ask before launch
What is a PrepEx institutional seat?
One seat gives one learner at a time teacher-managed access to the PrepEx TOEFL Pro product for the term stated in the institution's order. The teacher dashboard shows allocated, pending, and available capacity.
Can we move a seat to another student?
Yes. A teacher or institutional administrator can revoke a seat and assign the available seat to another learner in the same institution. Reassignment does not restart or extend the original term.
Do our students need a license code or credit card?
No. Managed-seat students accept a private teacher invitation and receive institutional access without entering payment details. Approved distribution partners may use a separate Pro access code model.
What can teachers see?
Teachers can see invitation and seat status, recent activity, assignments, completed practice, section progress, strengths, areas needing attention, and recent report exports. Student access is scoped to the institution's authorized users.
Which TOEFL tasks can be assigned?
Teachers can assign TOEFL 2026 Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing work, including Complete the Words, academic reading, conversations, announcements, academic talks, Listen and Repeat, Interview Speaking, Build a Sentence, Email Writing, and Academic Discussion.
How are institutional terms and pricing set?
PrepEx quotes the seat quantity, product, duration, start date, and any implementation requirements for the institution. Standard terms are commonly 30 or 90 continuous days. The accepted order or signed agreement controls.
